East Greenwich Photo & Studio was founded in 1976. While initially focusing photographic equipment, they quickly put themselves on the map as the first store in Rhode Island to offer one-hour photo developing.
The studio photography also quickly helped East Greenwich Photo & Studio to grow. What began as a small part of their business, today they are best known for their excellence in studio and wedding/event photography.
Over the last 30 years, East Greenwich Photo & Studio has cemented their reputation as New England’s most dependable source for capturing client’s most cherished moments.
About Soozie
Soozie Sundlun has been capturing wedding memories with a photojournalistic style for decades. She incorporates her love of photography with the personality of her subjects.
Soozie has earned numerous awards for her photography and is widely recognized for her volunteer work with many charitable organizations, with a special dedication to the Rhode Island Special Olympics.
She has photographed a wide variety of subjects including prominent celebrities and politicians. Over her career, she has been the backstage photographer for high profile musicians such as Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson and Bon Jovi. She has been recognized for her photography of national political figures such as Presidents Clinton & Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Locally, Soozie has frequently been the main photographer at events for Mayor David Cicillene and Congressman Patrick Kennedy.
Soozie’s main goal is to integrate an artistic look into traditional photography. Much in demand for her warm and intimate wedding portraits and candid shots, she is also a superb fashion and children's photographer and has a special fondness for animal portraiture. She is at ease shooting both in her studio and on location, such as family pictures in a beach setting. Sensitive to her surroundings and keenly aware of the special qualities of her individual subjects, Soozie brings a distinctive, individual appreciation to all her photographic work.
